Training of researches and academia on data analysis
Academicians and researchers are key users of official statistics to generate evidence through policy and scientific research, to publish articles, reports, dissertations, and for curriculum development. The training of academia and researchers are designed to build the capacity of participants to understand datasets related to living conditions of Rwanda and the region, and other areas of development which include agriculture, labor force, trade, establishments, national accounts, etc.
Learning objectives
The training aims at fostering further researches based on existing microdata sets. Participants are expected to contribute to the implementation of national development priorities which include the National Strategy for Transformation (NST-1), Sector Strategic Plans (SSPPs), and Sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Target group:
- Participants to this training are expected to be lecturers from universities and higher learning institutions, as well as researchers from research institutions.
